Looking for two female performers

The company is looking for two Afro-descendant female performers with 4 to 6 years of experience with an international dance company. BJM is currently beginning work on its new creation set to the music of an internationally renowned artist emerging from this community. Also, in light of the current social climate, the company is fully aware of the under representation of people of color and particularly black people of color on its team.

The artists will have to demonstrate a solid classical training, have an experience of contemporary ballet, demonstrate great skills and excellent technique for working with partner.

We are looking for people who are available fairly quickly. Both positions are to be filled for this season.

Interested persons must send their file including your resume + 1 casting photo (headshot), 1 full-foot photo in movement and a video link of max. 3 minutes no later than Thursday 10th September to ressourceshumaines@bjmdanse.ca.

Thank you for your interest, please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
