Abby Castora born and raised in Plano, Texas began her dance training at KJ Dance under the direction of Brian Stevens and Kristy Blakeslee. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School in 2023 under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack and Mario Alberto Zambrano. During her time in school, she performed works by Ohad Naharin, Jermaine Spivey and Spenser Theberge, Hofesh Shechter, Trisha Brown, Billy Barry, and Sonya Tayeh. She has attended many summer programs including Springboard Danse Montreal, Jacob's Pillow Contemporary Ballet Program, and Gaga Labs in Tel Aviv as well as New York. Upon graduating she joined The Metropolitan Opera as a dancer for the 2023-24 season while also working freelance in New York.
