Gabrielle Paquin started out in classical ballet and jazz ballet in 1987 at the École ArtDanse in Mont-Laurier, in the Upper Laurentians. Due to a total lack of coordination, she turned to music (piano, guitar, clarinet, saxophone, banjo, trumpet), a new passion that has stayed with her to this day.

While studying translation at the Université de Montréal, Gabrielle began working in the ticketing industry, which enabled her to keep in touch with the performing arts. After falling in love with the field and quickly rising through the ranks, she worked for several years with ticketing networks, concert halls, and major festivals in various positions related to sales, operations, programming, administration, and access control.

Gabrielle joined the Ballets Jazz Montréal team in September 2018, working with Ms. Liane Barriault to restructure accounting, financial, and administrative operations, as well as to continue day-to-day activities during a complex and trying pandemic period for the cultural community. She continues to express her creativity through music, sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitching.
