Rhapsody Stiggers

Biography

Born and raised in Minnesota, Rhapsody Stiggers began her dance journey at the Minnesota Dance Theater, and continued studying at TU Dance Center under the direction of Toni Pierce Sands. She received her BFA in contemporary dance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Over the years, Rhapsody had the opportunity of performing works by Ronald K. Brown, Juliano Nunes, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Doug Varone, Gregory Dawson and many more. Additionally, she has expanded her dance knowledge through various intensive programs and workshops including: Ballet Nacional de Cuba, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Since graduating from The Boston Conservatory, Rhapsody has been a guest artist in Tony Williams’ Urban Nutcracker, and performed on stages in The Netherlands and South Africa with Anderson Carvalho Dance and Choreography. Rhapsody joins Ballets Jazz Montréal for the 2026–2027 season as an apprentice with the company.
