Silje Vereide, born in Texas and raised in Norway, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2021). After graduating, she joined Valencia Dancing Forward in 2021 and has worked as a freelance artist with companies and festivals, including Ballet Ireland, the Norwegian National Ballet, Company Snorkel Rabbit, the Oslo Jazzdans Festival, and På Tå Hev.

Over the years, Silje has collaborated with and performed works by renowned choreographers such as Andonis Foniadakis, Aszure Barton, Jo Strømgren, Ohad Naharin, Ihsan Rustem, Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, Philip Taylor, Alba Castillo, and Bryan Arias, among others. In 2024, she joined Ballets Jazz Montréal.
