Stéphanie Dalphond

Biography

Originally from Montreal, Stéphanie Dalphond is a graduate of the École supérieure de danse du Québec and the Paris Opera Ballet School. At just 16, she joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, where she danced for six years before taking on the role of rehearsal director for a season. She then pursued her career in Europe as a dancer, collaborating with Kevin O’Day and Dominique Dumais in Mannheim, and later with Serge Campardon and Compagnie Nomades. She subsequently joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza, directed by renowned choreographer Nacho Duato, where she concluded a 20-year career.

Following her career as a performer, Stéphanie obtained her diploma as a classical dance instructor. She then taught in professional and pre-professional settings, including the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Cas Public, and Ballets Jazz Montréal. For the 2024–2025 season, she joined the company as rehearsal director, and for the 2025–2026 season, she added the role of artistic coordinator.
