At the age of 16, he began his career as a lighting technician. A few years later, Mr. Vargas obtained an audio engineering diploma, and since 2009, he has funneled his creative energy into technical production.

Over the past 20 years, Marco has learned and enjoyed every step of the creation, production, and execution process for projects of all kinds. While in Europe, he had the opportunity to work on opera, dance, classical and contemporary theatre, major electronic music festivals, and rock & roll tours.

Mr. Vargas joined Ballets Jazz Montréal in March 2022. He is a strong team player who believes in diversity, listening, and dialogue as primary strengths within a group. He hopes to actively participate in cultivating the highest technical and artistic quality of the shows he brings on stages around the world.
