For more than 15 years, Marie-Joëlle worked at Cirque du Soleil, where she acquired a wide range of experience in the events and entertainment sector. She has held several strategic positions in environmental management, operations management, and tour management across Canada, Asia, Latin America, and the United States.
After her time with Cirque, she spent a year as a Production Operations Supervisor in the film and television sector.
In January 2018, Ms. Tremblay joined Ballets Jazz Montréal as the Assistant General Manager, bringing her extensive expertise in the operation and management of touring shows. In this capacity, she oversees planning and implementing the company’s operations, ensuring the dissemination of shows, and managing the company’s human, financial and material resources.
In 2020, Marie-Joëlle became the Executive Director of the company and now oversees the development, planning and supervision of all of Ballets Jazz Montreal’s departments.
