Ballets Jazz Montreal is thrilled to announce the launch of our 50th season - celebrating a half-century of history, innovation, performances, encounters, and above all, emotion.
To kick off this milestone season, the company – in collaboration with MU – has created the Ballets Jazz Montréal mural in the heart of Montreal’s Le Plateau-Mont-Royal neighbourhood.
This artistic work, created by Franco Égalité, is Ballets Jazz Montréal’s way of giving back to the city, where it set down roots 50 years ago and which continues to inspire its team to this day.
The mural is part of the growingTribute to Montreal’s Great Artists series,an initiative launched in 2010 by MU. The inclusive project aims to recognize and highlight the invaluable contributions made by the city’s artists in various fields.
Our 50th season program will allow our audiences to revisit our past and accompany us into a promising future. We can’t wait to share it with you.
