Ballets Jazz Montréal unveils its 50th Anniversary program entitled ESSENCE. As part of this landmark season, Ballet Jazz Montréal has curated a triple bill that includes:
We Can’t Forget About What’s His Name, a new creation by Ausia Jones Ten Duets on a Theme of Rescue by Crystal Pite Les Chambres des Jacques by Aszure Barton
This anniversary program, which is co-produced by the National Arts Centre and Danse Danse, honours the company’s roots but also serves as a springboard for a new artistic vision – a balance between the company’s DNA and the evolution of its mission into the next half-century.
ESSENCE will have its world premiere in Saint-Sauveur on August 6th, 2022, as part of the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur.
In addition, the triple bill will be presented at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa on August 11th and 12th, 2022.
